Stand up comedy
Paul is one of Britain's sharpest and most entertaining comics. He has performed regularly at the Comedy Store and the Jongleurs chain, and has made three appearances at the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, and also at the Leicester Comedy Festival, performing, and teaching stand-up and improvisation. His show "How to be the Perfect Couple" ("hilariously observed, scarily funny" - London Newspaper Group) was on at the Gilded Balloon, Edinburgh, and he has just returned from the United States where "How To Be The Perfect Couple" was a sell out. He also performed in Edinburgh sketch show 'Radio Daze' with Mark Maier and Jo Enright ("Classy, well-written scenes, supported by excellent comic actors" - The Independent; "Ingenious" - The Express).
Other credits include two series as headline guest on Net.Comedy, Stand-up 2 on BBC Radio 2, plus numerous acting credits including London's Burning, The Knock, Thunderpants, a Knight in Camelot, and a host of BBC Radio comedy series, including Losers, One Foot in the Grave, Week Ending, the Locker Room, and Like They've Never Been Gone.
"Very funny" - Time Out
"Stylish and Savvy" - The Guardian
"Destined for even greater things" - What's On
"Really is very funny. Pouring out a cascade of one-liners and observations, his non-stop flow makes him a clean, lean wit machine." - Heckler Magazine.
Paul has performed with the Comedy Store Players, the Comedy Store Cutting Edge team, and has represented Britain several times in improvisation tournaments at home and abroad.
